Georgia Edwards was nominated by her employer Wired Entertainment and Susie Stafford of Murray Mallee Training Company who had submitted a supporting letter for the Nomination category of Workplace Student of the Year Award. The Deniliquin Business Awards were held on the 20th July 2012 at the Deniliquin RSL Club where Georgia was announced the winner.

Georgia Edwards
School based Trainee Georgia Edwards was announced the winner of the 2012 Riverina VET in Schools Student of the Year.

The annual awards — which are conducted by the NSW Department of Education and Communities — highlight the depth and skill that exists in Vocational Education and Training in NSW. Georgia had completed a Certificate II in Retail as a School based trainee through Murray Mallee Training Company.
Georgia thanked Wired Entertainment, Deniliquin High School, her family and Susie Stafford of Murray Mallee Training when accepting her award.
Indigenous Employee of the Month April 2012

Tobie Cameron is the very worthy winner of the Sunraysia Regional Consulting, Indigenous employee of the month award for April 2012.
Tobie is employed by Murray Mallee Training Company and is hosted to the Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) in Swan Hill.
Tobie is completing a traineeship in Cert III Conservation & Land Management and though he started after the other trainees in the group he has fast tracked his training to catch up. He has shown true commitment to his current traineeship but has also looked to the future and completed an application to the marine and fisheries department for possible future employment.
Tobie demonstrates his highly developed communication skills every day and continues to develop them further as he progresses throughout his traineeship.
Tobie is also very active in the community, playing football with a local team, being involved in a recent Koori Youth Expo and showing strong leadership to other trainees in the DSE program.
Tobie was congratulated for his achievements by Louise Rushforth, Manager Aboriginal Employment with Sunraysia Regional Consulting and presented with a Certificate of Achievement and a cheque for $200 for his efforts.

Australian Trainee Of The Year 2010
AUSTRALIAN TRAINEE OF THE YEAR 2010

Congratulations to Gabriella Morona on being named the Australian Trainee of the Year for 2010. After winning NSW Trainee of the year in September, Gabriella attended the Australian Training Awards at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre Homebush, where she was announced Australian Trainee of the Year 2010.
Gabriella completed her Certificate III in Agriculture Traineeship on her parents farm FAN & S Morona at Deniliquin in her gap year before commencing her Bachelor of Agricultural Economics at The University of Sydney.
Murray Mallee Training Company would like to congratulate Gabriella on being named the 2010 Australian Trainee of the year and wish her all the best with her future studies.
